About Orthodontics Victoria
Orthodontics Victoria is a specialist orthodontic practice providing care guided by careful assessment, defined treatment objectives, and long-term oral health considerations.

Care is planned within the scope of specialty orthodontic practice, with attention to biological limits, stability, and appropriate sequencing over time.
Clinical Approach
Orthodontic evaluation extends beyond tooth position alone. Assessment considers tooth alignment, bite relationships, jaw relationships, growth status, and other orthodontic findings relevant to treatment planning.
Recommendations are based on these findings and tailored to support safe, biologically appropriate care rather than a standardized or appliance-driven approach.

Not all patients require immediate orthodontic treatment, and observation or delayed care may be appropriate in selected cases.
Specialist-Led Care
Specialist-led orthodontic care emphasizes continuity of oversight and appropriate sequencing across all phases of treatment. Treatment planning and progression are guided by individual clinical findings rather than age-based or uniform protocols.
Scope of Care and Collaboration
Orthodontic care is provided within the scope of specialty orthodontic practice. Relevant jaw-related symptoms, temporomandibular joint status, and sleep-related breathing concerns may be reviewed when they intersect with orthodontic assessment or treatment planning.
Orthodontic treatment is not provided as primary therapy for temporomandibular disorders or sleep-related breathing disorders.

When appropriate, care may be coordinated with general dentists, physicians, or other healthcare providers to support comprehensive management within their respective scopes of practice.
Orthodontic treatment is not provided as primary care for temporomandibular disorders; findings related to TMD are addressed separately.
Patient-Centered Care
Clear communication and realistic expectations are central to care. Treatment options, anticipated limitations, and alternatives are discussed openly to support informed decision-making.
Not all consultations result in orthodontic treatment. Recommendations are made only when clinically appropriate and aligned with the patient’s individual findings and circumstances.
