Financial Policy
This page provides an overview of general financial policies related to orthodontic care at our practice.
Specific fees, payment arrangements, and insurance considerations are reviewed individually and confirmed before treatment begins.
Fees and treatment planning
Orthodontic fees are determined based on individualized clinical assessment and the scope and complexity of care recommended. Fees are not based on appliance selection alone and are discussed after appropriate evaluation.

Not all consultations result in a recommendation for orthodontic treatment.
Payment arrangements
A down payment is collected at the start of treatment, with the remaining balance typically divided into monthly installments over the course of active treatment.

Payment arrangements are reviewed and confirmed prior to the delivery of orthodontic appliances or initiation of treatment.
Insurance considerations
Insurance coverage for orthodontic care varies by plan and provider.
Insurance benefits do not determine treatment recommendations or treatment fees.
When insurance information is provided, submission of insurance predeterminations or claims may be offered as a courtesy.
Predetermination confirms eligibility for orthodontic benefits only and does not guarantee payment or reimbursement. Insurance providers communicate benefit determinations directly to the policyholder.
Responsibility for orthodontic fees remains with the patient or guardian regardless of insurance coverage or benefit changes.
Treatment Duration
Estimated treatment duratioh is provided for planning purposes only.

Actual treatment duration may vary due to individual response, growth changes, compliance, and clinical factors identified during care.
Questions and clarification
We encourage patients and parents to ask questions regarding fees, payment arrangements, and insurance coverage at any time.
Financial discussions are reviewed separately from clinical decision-making to support clear communication and informed consent.
Waiver
