Clinical Philosophy and Scope of Practice
Orthodontic treatment is grounded in preservation of oral health and respect for biologic limits of tooth movement, periodontal support, and skeletal adaptation.
Advanced training in orthodontics, orofacial pain, oral medicine, and dental sleep medicine supports structured evaluation of craniofacial growth, occlusal development, temporomandibular function, airway-related structural considerations, and interdisciplinary factors when relevant to orthodontic care.
Clinical assessment and management are provided within dental scope of practice. When findings require medical evaluation or interdisciplinary care, referral and coordination with appropriate healthcare providers are recommended.
Clear communication and collaborative decision-making are emphasized to support informed treatment planning.
Continuity and Accountability
Diagnosis, treatment planning, appliance placement, and retention protocols remain under Dr. Moldez’s supervision throughout care. Treatment progression is evaluated at defined intervals to ensure alignment with treatment objectives and biologic response.
Collaboration with referring dentists and other healthcare providers is welcomed when interdisciplinary coordination supports patient care.

Dr. Moldez practices in accordance with established ethical standards and regulatory requirements governing specialty orthodontics in Canada. He maintains ongoing engagement in continuing education to support evidence-informed clinical practice.
