For Referring Providers
Referrals are welcomed for orthodontic evaluation of malocclusion, bite discrepancies, growth-related concerns, and treatment planning requiring specialist oversight. Orthodontic assessment is based on comprehensive clinical evaluation, growth status when applicable, and long-term stability considerations.
When relevant to orthodontic decision-making, findings related to temporomandibular joint status, orofacial pain, or sleep-related breathing concerns are reviewed within the orthodontic planning process. Orthodontic treatment is not provided as primary care for temporomandibular disorders.
Care is coordinated with referring dentists, physicians, and allied providers as indicated. Diagnostic findings and orthodontic recommendations are communicated clearly, and collaboration with referring providers is maintained throughout care when indicated.
